Qualifications

• Strong background in academic advising or career counseling, with ability to guide course selection and monitor progress.
• Experience with student information systems and retention data to inform advising strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills; maintain FERPA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one advising to continuing CTE students, guiding course selection and program mapping.
• Collaborate with faculty and deans to ensure consistent advising messaging and refer students to wraparound services as needed.
• Support early alert and retention initiatives and assist with recruitment events, enrollments, and new student orientations.
