Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking qualified CT radiographers for a full-time post at North Tyneside General Hospital. The role involves rostered shifts including weekends and on-call work, and working across CT and general X-ray departments. A mentoring programme supports student development and professional growth.

You will join a team dedicated to high-quality radiographic service provision, with opportunities for development across the trust's hospitals and sites.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
• State Registration (HCPC).
• Specialist post-registration qualification in a specialised imaging modality (e.g. CT, mammography, fluoroscopy).
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in roster patterns including weekends, out of hours and on calls.
• Work between CT and general X-ray departments as required.
• Mentor students and assistant practitioners as part of a teaching programme.
• Assist in 24/7 service cover across North Tyneside and other sites as needed.
