NHS Borders is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join the CTAC team in a fixed-term role until 31 March 2027. You will support registered nurses and have opportunities to develop skills in phlebotomy, vital signs recording, urinalysis, ECGs and wound management.
You should have good communication skills and be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting. IT system use is expected, and occasional travel with a driving licence is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our CTAC team.
This role will support our registered nurses and will offer the opportunity to develop experience and skills in many areas of care such as phlebotomy, recording vital signs, urinalysis, ECGs and wound management.
You must have good communication skills and enjoy working with people to deliver person centred care. You will need to be able to work autonomously, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Experience is preferable, but full training will be given.
Ability to use IT systems
Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license is essential as the role will involve occasional travel.
Family friendly hours spread across the week, Monday - Friday

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (36 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
