Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Co-ordinator to work within the Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. You will support the CTAC Team Leader and have direct line management for band 6 Primary Care Nurses, band 5 Treatment Room Nurses and band 3 Health Care Support Workers.

You must be a nurse registered with the NMC, with extensive Treatment Room/Primary Care Nursing experience and the ability to work in a multi-professional team.

Qualifications

  • NMC registered nurse with current practising status.
  • Extensive experience in Treatment Room or Primary Care/Practice Nursing settings.
  • Able to work within a multi-professional team and deliver safe, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the CTAC Team Leader and line-manage band 6 Primary Care Nurses, band 5 Treatment Room Nurses and band 3 Health Care Support Workers.
  • Ensure clinical care and quality standards are met and that the service delivers safe, effective, person-centred practice.
  • Travel across the area is required for this post.

Job description

We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity within the Fife Health and Social Care (H&SC) Partnership for a Band 6 Clinical Co-ordinator to work within the Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC).

Within this role you will provide support to the CTAC Team Leader and have direct line management for band 6 Primary Care Nurses, band 5 Treatment Room Nurses and band 3 Health Care Support Workers. A key part of this role will be to ensure clinical care and quality standards are met and that the service delivers safe, effective, person centred practice to meet the needs of people in Fife.

In applying for this role you will be a nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will have extensive skills and experience of working within a Treatment Room or Primary Care Nursing/Practice Nursing setting and be able to work as part of a multi-professional team.

You must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to prioritise clinical care patient needs, and be adaptable to change. You must evidence continued personal development.

Travel throughout the area is required as part of this post.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
