Position: CT Technologist

Location: Winchester, MA 01890

Project Duration: 13 Weeks/Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT scans with accuracy and precision.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure proper imaging procedures are followed.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images and document technical factors.
• Follow protocols for patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
• Perform X-ray exams as needed in addition to CT scans.
• Ensure proper functioning of CT and X-ray equipment, perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Assist patients with positioning and provide clear instructions.
• Support patients with mobility challenges or special needs.
• Communicate effectively to explain procedures and reduce patient anxiety.

Job Qualifications

• Graduated from a two-year AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Proficient in high-volume trauma settings.
• Previous trauma experience preferred.
• Registered by ARRT, licensed by the State of MA, current BLS certification.
• BILH coversheet required.
• Must not have worked perm/travel for Beth Israel facilities within the past six months.
• COVID vaccines + booster required at submission.
• 2024-2025 flu vaccine required at submission; declinations not accepted. Attestation accepted if vaccine is pending.
