Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 3 Radiology Department Assistants to support the CT and MRI service across multiple sites, including the CDC. The role involves patient preparation, positioning, and assisting in interventional procedures while maintaining high standards of care and empathy.

The position requires flexible working patterns, with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours, including night shifts and weekends.

Qualificações

• Assist with all aspects of CT and MRI imaging, including preparing patients for examinations and helping to position them for imaging.
• Support staff participating in imaging delivery, with focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate care and empathy to patients throughout the imaging process.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examinations and help position them for CT/MRI.
• Assist with interventional procedures biopsies and drainages as required.
• Gain knowledge of MRI safety to support the Radiographer team.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the multi‑professional team.
