Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board seeks an experienced Principal Radiographer for CT to lead and develop CT services across the Health Board. You will provide expert clinical and technical advice while ensuring safe, efficient and patient-centred CT services across multiple sites.

The role combines strategic service development with hands-on operational leadership, including workforce planning, governance and budget management, to deliver high-quality radiology services in a dynamic NHS

Responsibilities

• Lead CT services across the Health Board, providing professional, clinical and operational leadership.
• Support equipment procurement and replacement programmes to maintain service quality.
• Ensure maintenance, quality assurance and radiation protection arrangements are robust.
• Deliver safe and effective CT services through governance, audit, risk management and performance oversight.
• Line manage designated staff, support training and ensure targets for access, activity, quality and finances are met.
