Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board seeks an experienced Principal Radiographer MRI to lead the MRI service, set standards and drive clinical governance across the Health Board. The post involves shaping operational delivery, supporting innovation, and ensuring timely, compassionate patient care across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

You will act as the lead professional for MRI, developing protocols, budgets and workforce planning, while representing Radiology in Health Board,

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of MRI services or radiology departments.
• Experience in clinical governance and audit within imaging.
• Strong collaboration with radiologists, radiographers and governance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, operational and clinical leadership for MRI services.
• Develop protocols, SOPs and standards for MRI practice.
• Lead service development, quality improvement and workforce planning.
