Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an inspiring and experienced Principal Radiographer for MRI to lead and develop a safe, timely, high-quality and forward-looking MRI service across the Health Board.

This senior leadership role involves setting standards, developing protocols, and working with radiologists, radiographers, governance colleagues and senior managers to continually improve the service. Welsh language readiness is encouraged but not mandatory.

Competenze

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and HCPC registration are essential.
• Masters level qualification in a relevant specialty or equivalent will be considered.
• Experience in managing a health-board wide service and leading change.
• Strong focus on clinical governance, audit and MRI safety.

Mansioni

• Provide professional, operational and clinical leadership for the MRI modality.
• Lead service development, quality improvement, clinical governance, MRI safety, audit, risk management, workforce planning and staff development.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and SOPs; manage MRI resources and budgets; represent Radiology in Health Board, All-Wales and UK forums.
