Job summary

Clearfield Recruitment Limited seeks 6x CSCS Racking Installation Operatives for an upcoming project in Exeter, starting Monday 10th August. You will be responsible for the safe assembly, erection, and dismantling of pallet racking, cantilever systems, and shelving within a large warehouse environment.

You will work with site supervisors and project managers, using blueprints and layouts to ensure installations meet strict health and safety standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is mandatory.
• Proven experience in industrial racking installation or heavy assembly.
• Experience in a warehouse or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install racking systems according to blueprints and layouts.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Ensure installations meet health and safety and quality standards.
• Perform pre-installation checks and inspect finished work for stability and alignment.

Job description

We are looking for experienced and motivated 6x CSCS Racking Installation Operatives to join an upcoming industrial project in Exeter from Monday 10th August. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, erection, and dismantling of various industrial storage systems, including pallet racking, cantilever racking, and shelving systems, within a large-scale warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install various types of industrial storage and racking systems according to technical blueprints and layout drawings.
• Operate tools and machinery safely, including hand tools, power tools
• Ensure all installations comply strictly with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct pre-installation checks of work areas and inspect finished installations for stability, alignment, and safety.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other construction trades.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven previous experience in industrial racking installation or heavy assembly within a warehouse or construction setting.
• Certifications: Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
