Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join major construction and civil engineering projects at RAF Brize Norton. This is a long-term PAYE role with weekly pay and enhanced rates for overtime, nights and weekends.

The role involves carrying out general groundworks, drainage, ducting and external works on a major infrastructure programme. A CSCS card and proven groundworks experience are required, with commitment to site safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A valid CSCS card appropriate to your groundworks duties.
• Previous experience as a Groundworker on a construction or civil engineering site.
• Practical experience in general groundworks and site preparation.
• A good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Experience working safely around plant, machinery and other site operatives.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the advertised shift patterns. Experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.

• Assisting with excavations, drainage, ducting and utility installations.
• Installing kerbs, edging, paving and other external works.
• Supporting concrete preparation and finishing activities.
• Working safely around plant, machinery and other site operations.
• Maintaining clean, tidy and safe working areas.
• Reporting hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Following all site health and safety requirements and applicable MOD procedures.

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join major construction and civil engineering projects at RAF Brize Norton.

With ongoing work expected throughout 2026 and beyond, this role offers the opportunity to secure consistent work while contributing to important construction and infrastructure improvements.

Pay rates – PAYE

• £16.75 per hour PAYE - Standard Rate
• £20.94 per hour PAYE - Overtime after 10 hours
• £22.28 per hour PAYE - Night Rate (7pm-7am)
• £25.13 per hour PAYE - Weekend Rate
• Weekly pay

Working pattern

• 7 days on / 2 days off, or
• 12 days on / 2 days off

Your role as a Groundworker
