Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join major construction and civil projects at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

You'll carry out general groundworks, assist with drainage and kerbs, and work on a long-term programme with weekly PAYE pay, enhanced overtime and night/weekend rates. A CSCS card and site experience are required, with full site inductions provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card appropriate to groundworks duties.
• Previous experience as a Groundworker on construction or civil engineering site.
• Practical experience in general groundworks and site preparation.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Experience working safely around plant and machinery.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the advertised shift patterns.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out general groundworks and civil engineering duties.
• Preparing, digging and levelling ground for construction.
• Assisting with excavations, drainage, ducting and utility installations.
• Installing kerbs, edging, paving and other external works.
• Supporting concrete preparation and finishing activities.
• Working safely around plant, machinery and other site operations.
• Maintaining clean, tidy and safe working areas.
• Reporting hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Following all site health and safety requirements and applicable MOD procedures.

Groundworker - £16.75 per hour PAYE

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join major construction and civil engineering projects at RAF Brize Norton.

Looking for your next long-term opportunity? This is your chance to put your groundworks experience to use on a major infrastructure project, with competitive PAYE rates, enhanced pay for overtime, nights and weekends, and weekly pay.

With ongoing work expected throughout 2026 and beyond, this role offers the opportunity to secure consistent work while contributing to important construction and infrastructure improvements.

Pay rates - PAYE

• £16.75 per hour PAYE - Standard Rate
• £20.94 per hour PAYE - Overtime after 10 hours
• £22.28 per hour PAYE - Night Rate (7pm-7am)
• £25.13 per hour PAYE - Weekend Rate
• Weekly pay

Working pattern

• 7 days on / 2 days off, or
• 12 days on / 2 days off

Your role as a Groundworker

You'll play a key role in supporting site operations and delivering essential groundworks and civil engineering activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out general groundworks and civil engineering duties.

What we're looking for

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
