Job summary

Tower Supplies is seeking a hands-on Field Engineer to install, service and maintain Tower brand laundry and warewash dosing equipment on cruise ships worldwide. The role is permanent, with a 40-hour week and ~75% travel to ships or abroad.

You will work with onboarding project managers and engineers, applying electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills to install equipment, diagnose faults and keep systems operating safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operational role within FMCG, distribution, leisure, hospitality or related industries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
• Experience managing budgets and delivering financial targets.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in international operations; US experience is desirable.
• Financial competence covering P&L, financial modelling, cost and budget management, financial forecasting and planning, sales planning, and revenue and profit margin reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain Tower brand commercial laundry and warewash chemical dosing equipment onboard cruise ships.
• Diagnose faults and keep systems operating effectively.
• Carry out installations safely on ships, working with electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
• Develop and improve work instructions and method statements.
• Provide technical support and training to end users onboard.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent Tower professionally onboard.
