Job summary

Azamara Cruises is seeking an experienced Ordinary Seaman for the vessel AZAMARA PURSUIT. The role requires STCW95 certification, exterior maintenance skills, and proven deck experience aboard passenger ships. Embarkation on a 7 month +/1 month contract with shipboard duties and safety responsibilities.

Fluent English and the ability to work in a high-demand cruise environment are essential. Candidates must meet maritime safety standards and be physically fit for long shifts on deck.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding deck operations.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with procedures.
• Fluent English in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior of vessel as per policies and standards.
• Assist in arrival/departure prep, loading and discharging operations.
• Support Deck department per Master’s instructions.
• Participate in mooring operations and tendering when at anchor.
• Ensure lifesaving and pollution prevention equipment readiness.
• Communicate effectively with Staff Captain, Bosun and crew.
