Job summary

AZAMARA Cruises seeks 2x3rd Engineers to join our team on an onboard cruise ship. The role requires maintaining engine room watch, overseeing main and auxiliary engines, and leading safe machinery operations with strict adherence to safety regulations.

Applicants must hold STCW95, CoC A-III/1, and have extensive experience on passenger ships in a similar role. Excellent English is required, with visa and documentation in order.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe engine room watch while at sea, at anchor and in port in line with Company Policies and regulatory standards.
• Execute safe and efficient operation of Main and Auxiliary engines.
• Lead safe operations of machinery and monitor engine control systems in the engine room.
• Perform repair and maintenance work inside and outside the Engine Room per Company Policies and regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with technical teams and other departments.
