Forth Ports Limited is seeking a Cruise and Security Coordinator for a 12‑month FTC to plan and deliver cruise vessel visits across its Scottish operations. You will coordinate ISPS compliance, liaise with asset managers, security providers and authorities, and ensure smooth visitor experience.

The role requires weekend/out‑of‑hours flexibility and strong coordination across multiple teams to optimise operational delivery and safety.

Qualificações

• Strong organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in planning and documentation.
• Adaptable and proactive with problem solving.
• Familiarity with customs procedures and security protocols.
• Experience with financial management and budgeting.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence and working rights.

Responsabilidades

• Support the planning and coordination of the full Scottish cruise schedule with Asset Managers and Port Operations to ensure effective vessel visits.
• Support ISPS security requirements across cruise operations, maintain documentation, participate in drills and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Security Provider, PFSOs, vessel representatives, shipping agents and authorities to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Coordinate cruise volunteer and security teams, briefing them and maintaining professional standards during visits.
• Organise and deliver positive visitor experiences, including cultural activities and suitable facilities for visitors needing assistance.
• Assist contingency planning for adverse weather, accessibility and visitor comfort during cruises.
• Assist end-of-season reviews with the Cruise and Security Manager to identify process improvements.
• Monitor cruise operations against profit and loss targets; coordinate vessel charging and timely invoicing with Finance.
• Support promotion of Capital Cruising via social media and stakeholder engagement with Tilbury Cruise Team and PR firm.
• Assist with plaque exchanges, PR activities and events involving visiting cruise vessels to enhance the visitor experience.
