Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiology Business Manager to lead, develop and shape the delivery of high-quality radiology services across multiple sites.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership, working with the Divisional Director, General Manager, Clinical Director and Site Leads to drive performance, efficiency and financially sustainable services across all sites.

Qualifications

• Substantial operational or business management experience within the NHS or a comparable complex healthcare environment.
• Experience of managing teams and services within a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Experience of budget management, financial monitoring and recovery planning.
• Experience of delivering against operational and quality targets.
• Experience of staff leadership, workforce management and employee relations.
• NHS operational management experience within an acute setting.
• Experience of cross site service management.
• Experience of waiting list management, capacity planning and access standards.
• Experience of developing business cases/business plans and supporting delivery of change projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated Radiology services across all Trust sites with consistent care standards, and seamless inpatient/outpatient imaging pathways.
• Deputise for the Radiology General Manager; engage with external stakeholders (ICS) and internal Trust leaders to support CDC programme.
• Improve imaging equipment utilisation; align imaging capacity with service requirements.
• Manage Radiology clerical and non-clinical staff within budget and provide effective support for imaging pathways.
• Ensure Radiology call centres operate efficiently and deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Work with HR to implement Radiology HR policies and liaise with HR on relevant procedures.
