Job summary

DFDS seeks a Transport/Admin Coordinator to join our team. Working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern, you’ll support the planning and coordination of domestic transport across the Island of Ireland and the UK, ensuring loads are scheduled efficiently and delivered on time.

You will handle delivery documentation, coordinate routes, update systems and maintain transport records while communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to support operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport planning role across Ireland and the UK.
• Strong organizational and detail-focused skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning domestic trailer and bulk transport across Ireland and the UK.
• Creating and managing delivery documentation for road and bulk haulage.
• Coordinating routes to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport planning.
• Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to support operations.
• Updating systems and maintaining accurate transport records.
• Supporting the resolution of operational issues and schedule changes.
• Contributing to a smooth, well-organised daily transport plan.
