Job summary

Mattioli Woods Limited is seeking a Team Leader to lead a team of Client Relationship Managers across East Malling and Rayleigh, with travel to support other locations in the region. You will coach, develop and performance-manage your team to deliver excellent client outcomes in a regulated wealth-management environment.

Work will be conducted in a hybrid model with a strong focus on collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience leading and motivating a team within a financial services environment.
• Clear, confident communication with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Strong coaching and mentoring ability, with a commitment to developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team with clear goals and performance monitoring.
• Be the first point of contact for your team and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Work with advisers to ensure clients' needs are met and service standards upheld.
• Conduct performance reviews and oversee absence management within your team.
• Review quality of client interactions and business processing; take corrective action as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying best practices and implementing change.
• Contribute to wider projects and strategic initiatives in your area.
• Ensure FCA regulations and organisational policies are followed.

As we continue to grow, we're looking to recruit a Team Leader based across our East Malling and Rayleigh offices, with travel required to support other locations within the region as needed. As a Client Relationship Manager Team Leader you will be leading a team of Client Relationship Managers to deliver great client outcomes and helping to grow the business!

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, coaching and developing your team - setting clear goals, monitoring performance and creating a culture people want to be part of
• Acting as the first point of contact for your team, providing day-to-day guidance and support
• Working closely with advisers to ensure clients' needs are met and service standards are upheld
• Conducting performance reviews and overseeing absence management within your team
• Reviewing the quality of work across client interaction and business processing, taking corrective action where needed
• Driving continuous improvement - identifying best practice, suggesting ideas and implementing change
• Contributing to wider project work and supporting strategic initiatives that impact your area
• Proactively complying with and promoting FCA regulations and all organisational policies
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, external stakeholders and across the business
