Job summary

Mattioli Woods plc is seeking a Team Leader across East Malling and Rayleigh with regional travel. You will lead a team of Client Relationship Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes and business growth.

You will coach, mentor and develop your team, ensuring compliance and high service standards while working in a collaborative, multi-site environment.

As we continue to grow, we're looking to recruit a Team Leader based across our East Malling and Rayleigh offices, with travel required to support other locations within the region as needed. As a Client Relationship Manager Team Leader you will be leading a team of Client Relationship Managers to deliver great client outcomes and helping to grow the business.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, coaching and developing your team - setting clear goals, monitoring performance and creating a culture people want to be part of
• Acting as the first point of contact for your team, providing day-to-day guidance and support
• Working closely with advisers to ensure clients' needs are met and service standards are upheld
• Conducting performance reviews and overseeing absence management within your team
• Reviewing the quality of work across client interaction and business processing, taking corrective action where needed
• Driving continuous improvement - identifying best practice, suggesting ideas and implementing change
• Contributing to wider project work and supporting strategic initiatives that impact your area
• Proactively complying with and promoting FCA regulations and all organisational policies
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, external stakeholders and across the business

• Proven experience leading and motivating a team within a financial services environment
• Clear, confident communication skills at all levels - with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders
• Excellent coaching and mentoring ability, with a genuine commitment to developing people
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to see the bigger picture
• Organised, calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail
• An awareness of compliance requirements and the ability to operate within a regulated environment
