Job summary

Mattioli Woods is recruiting a Team Leader across East Malling and Rayleigh to lead a team of Client Relationship Managers and drive excellent client outcomes.

You will coach, motivate and develop your team, partner with advisers, manage performance, and ensure FCA compliance while supporting regional growth.

• Proven experience leading and motivating a team within financial services.
• Clear, confident communication skills at all levels - with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Organised, calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team - set goals, monitor performance and foster a positive culture.
• Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing day-to-day guidance and support.
• Work closely with advisers to ensure clients' needs are met and service standards are upheld.
• Conduct performance reviews and oversee absence management within your team.
• Review the quality of work across client interaction and business processing, taking corrective action where needed.
• Drive continuous improvement - identify best practice, suggest ideas and implement change.
• Contribute to wider project work and support strategic initiatives impacting your area.
• Proactively comply with FCA regulations and all organisational policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, external stakeholders and across the business.
