Job summary

Mattioli Woods is seeking a Team Leader in the UK to lead a team of Client Relationship Managers across East Malling and Rayleigh, with travel as needed. You will coach, develop and guide advisers to meet client needs while upholding service standards within a regulated environment.

You will drive performance, manage priorities, and collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, ensuring strong client outcomes and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and motivating a team within a financial services environment.
• Clear, confident communication skills at all levels – clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring ability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to see the bigger picture.
• Organised, calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
• Awareness of compliance requirements and the ability to operate within a regulated environment.
• A 'can do', highly approachable and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team; set clear goals and monitor performance.
• Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing day-to-day guidance.
• Work closely with advisers to ensure clients’ needs are met and service standards are upheld.
• Conduct performance reviews and oversee absence management within your team.
• Review the quality of work across client interaction and business processing; take corrective action as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying best practices and implementing change.
• Contribute to wider project work and support strategic initiatives impacting your area.
• Promote FCA regulations and organisational policies within the team.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, external stakeholders and across the business.
