Job summary

Adanola Group in Manchester is seeking a CRM Assistant to support retention marketing across channels for a global audience. This hands-on role sits in the CRM team, focusing on data, campaigns, loyalty, and reporting. You'll learn the systems, templates, and processes while growing your confidence in a small, ambitious team.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to start a CRM career. You will build localised campaigns, QA quickly, help expand the CRM database, and apply

Qualifications

  • Interest in CRM, retention or customer marketing and curiosity about customers.
  • Able to use core systems and tools accurately, with willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of UK/US data compliance frameworks (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and ASA guidelines.
  • Curious about testing and optimisation and able to apply learnings from A/B tests to work.
  • Organised and reliable, able to follow a process, manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player, communicating clearly and working well with peers and vendors.
  • Commercially curious and keen to understand where CRM fits into the wider business and KPIs used to measure success.
  • Committed to continuous learning, growing your capability and confidence across the CRM competencies over time.

Responsibilities

  • Use the team's core CRM systems accurately to complete day to day tasks, across channels, loyalty, reviews, event management and survey tools.
  • Build and execute simple, localised campaigns by following briefs and using approved templates and brand guidelines.
  • Follow the QA process accurately on every campaign, flagging obvious issues such as broken links, missing personalisation or localisation errors before they go live.
  • Follow the CRM campaign calendar, attend planning meetings and inputting ideas for future activity.
  • Support the health and growth of the CRM database, flagging any missing, inconsistent or inaccurate data and assisting on acquisition drives.
  • Work across the loyalty scheme by building your understanding of the Adanola Rewards Club, QA-ing its journeys and carrying out tasks with support (e.g. set up of promotions).
  • Follow compliance rules correctly in everything you execute.
  • Produce accurate reports from agreed templates and begin to add the 'why' behind the trends being seen.
  • Summarise customer feedback from reviews and simple survey results, applying the insights and test learnings you're given to future campaigns.
  • Attend relevant stakeholder and vendor meetings, taking accurate notes and following up on actions.

Description

The CRM Assistant is a hands-on role within the CRM team, supporting the execution of CRM activity across our channels for our global audience. The team broadly works across database growth, channel execution, customer understanding and loyalty. This is a role for someone early in their CRM career who is curious, detail-oriented and eager to learn how great retention marketing is delivered. You'll be given the guidance, templates and support to succeed in the job and you'll grow your confidence and independence over time as part of a small, ambitious team with big plans.

What You'll Do

About you
  • An interest in CRM, retention or customer marketing and a genuine curiosity about customers and data.
  • Able to use core systems and tools accurately, with a willingness to learn new ones quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A basic understanding of UK and US data compliance frameworks (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and ASA guidelines, or the willingness to learn them fast.
  • An understanding of the principles of customer lifecycle management and segmentation and why complete, accurate data matters for CRM.
  • Curious about testing and optimisation and able to apply learnings from A/B tests to your work.
  • Organised and reliable, able to follow a process, manage your tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player, communicating clearly and working well with peers and vendors.
  • Commercially curious and keen to understand where CRM fits into the wider business and the KPIs used to measure success (revenue, margin and basic concepts of trade).
  • Committed to continuous learning, growing your capability and confidence across the CRM competencies over time.
