Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Critical Third Parties Oversight Manager in the UK to lead a team delivering joint oversight of critical third parties and their services. You will drive resilience across regulators and interact with senior executives from CTPs to ensure robust protections for the financial sector.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and a track record of handling complex operational risk in financial services.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable people management skills and coaching ability.
  • Experience developing strategies to mitigate risk from business models and culture.
  • Extensive qualitative and quantitative analytical experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
  • Effective written and oral communication of complex issues.
  • Judgement and reasoned risk-based decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple firms/CTPs with prioritisation.
  • Experience dealing with contentious issues and delivering messages.
  • Ability to quickly learn new issues and think innovatively.
  • Significant experience with financial services firms or regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to FCA supervisors and resilience specialists in CTP oversight.
  • Lead meetings with senior executives from Critical Third Parties on resilience.
  • Contribute to the Technology, Resilience and Cyber Department leadership team.
  • Collaborate with HM Treasury, Bank of England, PRA, NCSC and international regulators.
  • Be on call during live incidents to support FCA responses.
