Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Technical Specialist - CTP Supervision in the UK. The role shapes the supervisory strategy for the Consolidated Tape, improving market transparency and integrity across UK markets, with responsibilities spanning policy, supervision, and data analytics within the Market Intervention - Trading Venues team.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, lead complex regulatory issues, and guide team members while ensuring effective resource management

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of the UK regulatory framework for financial markets.
Ability to acquire, source, manipulate and analyse data to inform decision-making.
Effective communication with senior stakeholders and concise explanations.

Responsibilities

Shape the design and lead delivery of the FCA's supervisory strategy for the CT.
Collaborate with colleagues across Authorisations, Legal, Trading Policy, Market Oversight and Trading Venue Supervision.
Lead complex supervisory issues, applying regulatory knowledge to make informed judgements.
Support, guide and develop team members while overseeing resources.
Leverage market data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes for participants.
