Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Critical Systems Shift Electrical Engineer in Wokingham for a full-time, rotating shift. You will support planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within a critical environment, ensuring reliability, safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires City & Guilds 2391, 17th/18th Edition, and experience in data centres with BMS knowledge. Benefits include career progression, development opportunities, and comprehensive employee support.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
• 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• IPAF 3A & 3B, AP/LV qualification desirable.
• Experience in a critical environment or data centre.
• Knowledge of BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems on site.
• Carry out electrical installation work and testing in line with industry standards.
• Support general building services tasks as required to maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and site procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the critical environment infrastructure, coordinating with other teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems on site.
• Carry out electrical installation work and testing in line with industry standards.
• Support general building services tasks as required to maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and site procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the critical environment infrastructure, including coordination with other technical teams when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
• IPAF 3A & 3B, basic mechanical knowledge, and AP/LV qualification (desirable)
• Experience working within a critical environment or data centre.
• Knowledge of BMS systems.
