Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Redhill seeks a Critical Services Shift Technician to resolve day-to-day work orders and ensure timely completion in client environments. You will work within the Critical and Technical Services function, handling maintenance in high-availability settings.

Role requires fault-finding, electrical knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. You will join a team delivering safety, reliability and superior customer service across busy client sites.

Qualifications

• Educated to City & Guilds in Electrical or equivalent (HNC acceptable).
• Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good administrative and computer skills with MS Office.
• Clear communication, ability to work with clients and teams.
• Capable of teamwork and supporting other shift members.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and act as AP within 6 months from onboarding.
• Maintain log of completed and outstanding work in the in-house system.
• Ensure contractors comply with safety and client requirements.
• Participate in critical services training program.
• Communicate effectively with client and management teams.
• Collaborate with technicians to resolve operational problems.
• Provide cover for holidays, training, and sickness.
• Track Planned Preventative Maintenance and assess plant condition.
• Log and action out-of-line situations with incident reports.
• Follow procedures; limited discretion in solving straightforward issues.
• Deliver outputs under supervision following defined processes.
