Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Critical Services Shift Technician to join our London team. You will maintain critical building systems, perform PPM, reactive and breakdown works on mechanical and electrical plant, including UPS, generators, and Crac units.

You will report to the Shift Leader and collaborate with multiple on-site teams. This role requires hands-on faults diagnosis, safe work practices, and a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Good command of English and basic mathematics.
• Trained in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical plant to defined criteria.

Responsibilities

• Ensure routine PPM is carried out to mechanical and electrical plant per site schedules.
• Complete reactive tasks and highlight improvements; handle concessions and fabric items.
• Carry out statutory compliance PPMs.
• Rectify plant faults to keep equipment in serviceable order.
• Provide spare parts lists and time estimates for remedial works.
• Prepare and pass all task paperwork to the contract administrator.
• Develop safe working methods with Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
