Critical Services Shift-Supervisor - London

Our client, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, is looking to hire a technically astute engineering supervisor to work at the site in Belling, for an international American financial services firm.

Contingent shift pattern: 7am - 7pm

Compensation: Base salary + 1.5K shift allowance (salary increases by another 1K upon attaining HVAP status)

The Role

Oversee the critical services team, resolving day-to-day work orders in critical client environments. Manage workload, schedules, and team activities to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction. The role will have an engineer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate support team operations, providing holiday, training, and sickness cover.
2. Review work logs and ensure completion through in-house systems.
3. Ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
4. Serve as the point of contact for client and management escalation.
5. Evaluate Planned Preventative Maintenance and recommend improvements.
6. Resolve complex operational problems and establish new techniques.

Requirements

1. High School Diploma/GED + 5+ years relevant experience.
2. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in BS7671:2008 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition).
3. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
4. Physical requirements: lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs/ladders.
5. Expertise in Microsoft Office.
6. Excellent organizational skills.
