Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Staffing Administrator to join the Critical Care team. You will coordinate rotas, manage absences and arrange temporary staffing while supporting payroll and workforce administration.

With NHS experience and strong IT skills, you will ensure the right staff are in the right place to provide safe, high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Good general education, educated to A Level, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Experience of word processing packages including Microsoft Word.
• Willing to undergo relevant training.
• Previous NHS experience or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain safe staffing levels for the Critical Care Unit.
• Support rostering, temporary workforce management and payroll processes.
• Assist with recruitment, absence management and day-to-day administration.
• Act as a point of contact for staff and ensure smooth unit operations.
• Work independently, solve problems and stay calm in busy environments.
• Promote safety and high-quality patient care through administration.
