Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse with critical care experience to join our critical care outreach team (CCOT) for a 9-12 month secondment (dependant on start date). This is an opportunity for existing band 7’s or senior Band 6 nurse to further develop their clinical, leadership and teaching skills.
Our CCOT team is a practitioner led service supported by the critical care consultant lead for the service. You will have the opportunity to work both within the team and independently, identifying patients at risk of clinical deterioration and prioritise with appropriate assessment, intervention and on-ongoing management. Teaching and delivering education to ward teams is an essential part of the role together with supporting deteriorating patient quality improvement work across site.
There will be opportunities for you to further your professional development within this secondment both clinically and leadership opportunities.
