Job summary

Norfolk and Waveney Mind in Norwich is seeking a committed team member for a full-time role at the Short Stay Recovery House. The post requires flexibility to work a rolling rota across 7 days with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, in a permanent contract.

You will support individuals in crisis, help them develop safety plans, liaise with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service, and assist with admissions, discharge paperwork, and recovery-focused group sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in crisis (presenting with low mood, anxiety, depression, mania, self-harm, suicidal thoughts) to develop their own safety plan and coping strategies.
• Identify and respond to individuals at risk by working with the CRHT team and other services.
• Liaise with the Service Manager when taking new referrals and participate in risk handovers for new residents.
