Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to support individuals in Central Lancashire Haven, Preston. You will manage a caseload, provide practical and emotional assistance, and help clients build independent living skills while promoting choice and recovery.

The role focuses on enabling safer, healthier and more independent living, with a person-centred approach and collaboration with external agencies to ensure holistic support.

• The ability to motivate, support and advocate for people using our services.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to help people improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
• Manage a caseload of key clients and develop meaningful, achievable and person-centred support plans.
• Support people to develop independent living skills, including budgeting, community engagement and accessing services.
• Complete and implement positive risk assessments in line with policies and procedures.
• Encourage choice, independence and active participation in decisions about support.
• Liaise with external agencies, including community mental health teams, multidisciplinary teams and carers.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records and contribute positively to team working and service delivery.
