Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker for a 3-month temporary assignment in Worthing. You will support adults in the criminal justice system with substance misuse needs to help their recovery and reduce reoffending.

The role involves managing a caseload, completing assessments, delivering interventions, and working with Probation, Courts, Police or HMP services. Experience in recovery and criminal justice is essential; housing, employment and health needs support is

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of criminal justice service users.
• Complete assessments and individual recovery plans.
• Deliver substance misuse, harm reduction and recovery interventions.
• Support individuals subject to DRRs, licence conditions and out-of-court disposals.
• Carry out assertive outreach to engage harder-to-reach service users.
• Work closely with Probation, HMP services and other partner agencies.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and complete professional reports and case notes.
• Support wider needs including housing, employment, health and social wellbeing.

Pay Guide - Umbrella

Less than 12 months' experience: £16-18ph

1-3 years' experience: £18-20ph

3+ years' experience: Up to £22ph

We are currently recruiting for a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker to join a specialist substance misuse service in Worthing on a 3-month temporary assignment.

You'll support adults involved in the criminal justice system with substance misuse needs, helping them work towards recovery, reduce harm and reduce reoffending.
