Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its rail infrastructure delivery team in Crewe for the ongoing Station Canopy Renewals programme.

The role requires coordinating civils, buildings, OLE and related disciplines within a live railway environment, along with a strong delivery focus and leadership of site teams. Hybrid working is possible as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering rail infrastructure, civils, buildings or structural projects.
• Strong construction delivery background with site management experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and complex project scopes.
• SMSTS certification.
• Experience with NEC contracts and early warnings.
• PTS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary rail construction activities within a live railway environment.
• Lead and support site delivery teams and subcontractors.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes and mitigate delays.
• Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and project specifications.
• Provide progress reporting and manage project risks.
