Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Creo) in Peterborough to work on next-generation diesel engine aftertreatment systems. You will design and develop components, produce drawings and BOMs, and apply GD&T throughout the product lifecycle.

The role is on-site for 40 hours per week on a 12-month contract with potential extension, collaborating with global teams and suppliers on advanced engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or Automotive Engineering) or related discipline.
• Proficient in Creo for mechanical design and development.
• Experience producing drawings and BOMs with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aftertreatment system components and assemblies using Creo CAD.
• Produce and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials.
• Apply GD&T and support DFMEA, validation and verification activities.
• Manage engineering data and documentation within Teamcenter.
• On-site role, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week, 12-month contract (potential extension).
