Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Creo) to contribute to next-generation diesel engine aftertreatment systems. You will take concepts through production, creating robust designs in a global engineering team.

The role focuses on Creo CAD design, GD&T application, and producing drawings and BOMs, with DFMEA validation and lifecycle support. This is an on-site 12-month contract with potential extension, located in Peterborough.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing with Creo or similar 3D CAD.
• Ability to produce drawings, BOMs and apply GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aftertreatment system components using Creo CAD.
• Produce and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and BOMs.
• Apply GD&T and support DFMEA, validation and verification activities.
• Manage engineering data and documentation within Teamcenter.
• On-site role, 5 days per week, 40 hours, 12-month contract with potential extension.
