Westerleigh Group invites applications for Crematorium Assistant roles at the new AUM Crematorium. You will be trained to participate in end-to-end cremation processes, manage ashes, and support families with varied funeral traditions, including Hindu, Jain and Sikh rites.
Excellent interpersonal skills, resilience, and flexibility are essential as you work across early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Training is provided and a clear career path is offered.
Crematorium Assistant x 5
Working flexibly, 5 days per week which will include regular weekends, evenings and early mornings on a rota basis.
40 hours per week
Our core operating hours are between 6am – 10pm daily, so the ability to work flexibly across 5 days of the week will be required. Variations in working hours will always be discussed in advance.
From £26,842 per annum + £500 salary uplift after qualification + discretionary performance bonus + Benefits

AUM is partnering with Westerleigh Group to bring a new crematorium to the community in 2027, specifically designed to accommodate Hindu, Jain and Sikh funeral rites, while welcoming families and individuals of all faiths and beliefs, as well as those with no religious affiliation.

This is a purpose-built facility in Denham, which has been specifically designed to accommodate Hindu, Jain and Sikh funeral rites, while welcoming families and individuals of all faiths and beliefs, as well as those with no religious affiliation.
The new AUM Crematorium facility can host two funeral services simultaneously and accommodate up to 700 attendees, providing a spacious and flexible setting for families and communities to come together to remember and celebrate a life.
