Job summary

Cummins Mellor in Blackburn is seeking a Risk Coordinator to join its Risk team, focusing on credit risk monitoring, audits and management information to support governance across a lending portfolio.

You will work in a collaborative environment, starting in an office-based setting with hybrid working after training, handling data, risk reports and reviews to ensure timely, accurate risk processes and decisions.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail who is comfortable working with information, managing multiple priorities and making considered judgement calls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conditions subsequent and coordinate in-life asset audits and annual reviews.
• Prepare audit packs and support audit report reviews, including actions from findings.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly hindsight reviews of underwriting decisions and defaults.
• Maintain monthly large exposure monitoring processes and escalate adverse findings.
• Collate and present data relating to credit decision appeals for risk reporting.
• Coordinate notifications from asset monitoring systems.
• Support the In Life Risk & Portfolio Manager with wider Risk activities as required.
• Develop a strong understanding of credit policy as applied in a live financial services environment.
