Job summary

This permanent Credit Co-ordinator role in Blackburn sits with a well-established finance and insurance business near the M65. The position offers hybrid working with 1–2 days from home and involves handling deal changes, liaising across departments to respond to brokers, vendors and customers, and reviewing credit conditions within an approved mandate.

You will escalate cases where needed and partner with the Credit Support team to prepare proposals for assessment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of background in insurance, financial services, asset finance or factoring.
• Strong communication, accuracy and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently deal with deal changes and respond to brokers, vendors and direct customers across multiple teams.
• Review and sign off credit conditions within your mandate or escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with the Credit Support team to prepare and present proposals for credit assessment.
• Provide administrative support to colleagues and assist the Credit Automation initiative.
• Direct support for other teams when required.
• Work closely with Lead Underwriter to foster an inclusive and positive team environment.
