Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Risk or Finance analytical role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience assessing financial information and making evidence-based decisions.
• Proficient in Excel and data presentation.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness with ability to challenge and recommend.
• Experience using credit reference agencies or risk assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess new and existing customer credit applications and reviewing financial information to determine creditworthiness.
• Conduct credit checks and analyse customer financial data, payment history and other relevant information.
• Make informed recommendations on credit limits and terms in line with company policies.
• Monitor existing customer accounts and identify potential credit risks or changes in financial circumstances.
• Provide clear feedback and recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding credit decisions.
• Produce regular credit risk reports and analysis for management.
• Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, decisions and supporting information.
• Identify trends and potential areas of risk within the customer portfolio.
• Support the wider Finance Team with ad-hoc analysis and credit-related projects.
• Ensure all credit decisions are made in accordance with internal procedures and relevant regulations.
