Ideal candidates will have experience in motor finance or non-prime lending environments, strong communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset to support growth and risk management in a fast-paced business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Risk or Data Analyst role is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL is essential for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with BigQuery, Python, or visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support credit strategy by analysing data to optimise risk, affordability, and collections.
• Assess performance of collections activities and asset recovery to identify efficiency and loss reduction.
• Use SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets to inform decision-making frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio quality across risk tiers and channels for early trend indicators.
• Collaborate with the credit risk team to develop practical analytics for strategy innovation.
• Assist in developing efficient processes balancing customer outcomes, efficiency, and business objectives.
• Produce regular reporting to track credit performance and arrears across the risk spectrum.
• Ensure analyses and reporting comply with regulatory standards including Consumer Duty.
