Brookfield Asset Management Inc. is seeking a credit analyst to perform credit analysis and assign internal ratings across asset classes, supporting regulatory requirements and surveillance.

You will maintain rating methodologies with audit trails, run stress tests, and coordinate with Portfolio Management, Investments, Compliance/Legal, Operations, and external managers to rollout methodologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
• CPA or CFA progress is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Perform credit analysis and assign internal ratings across asset classes.
• Maintain rating methodologies and models with documentation and audit trail.
• Run rating-focused stress tests and scenario analyses for downgrade risk and portfolio resilience.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management, Investments, Compliance/Legal, Operations and external managers on process alignment and methodology rollout.
• Manage credit risk data and reporting, including ad hoc stakeholder requests.
