Role

Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, interim Credit Manager for 3 months, with the potential to convert to a permanent role. In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Maintain accounts receivable aging within agreed parameters and lead reporting and conversations with Sales leaders on past due customers.
2. Lead the past due customer off-boarding process.
3. Lead Aged Debt reporting.
4. Review client accounts regularly to assess collectability and prevent potential issues.
5. Identify and resolve issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through proactive communication.
6. Drive down over 60-day past due balances proactively.
7. Manage an outbound call centre engaging with clients disputing invoices.
8. Manage the performance of Credit Controllers.
9. Train and mentor Credit Controllers on performance, customer interaction, product knowledge, and customer service.
10. Assist other departments with Accounts Receivable activities.
11. Analyse and improve outbound call centre processes related to Accounts Receivables.
12. Lead special projects as required by senior management.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing a large credit control team, experience in an international business, and a proven track record of reducing aged debt. Fluency in French, German, or Spanish is highly desirable. You must be available immediately or on a 1-week notice.

Salary & Benefits

The role pays circa £350 to £400 per day via an umbrella company, depending on experience.
