Job summary

NewDay is seeking a Specialist, Credit Insights to turn complex data into clear insight that guides understanding of our customers and credit portfolio. You’ll forecast arrears and insolvencies, identify risks and opportunities, and translate data into actionable guidance for stakeholders.

You’ll interrogate large datasets, develop scalable forecasting and MI processes, and present findings through dashboards for Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy and Customer Insights teams.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating data visualisations and management information for different audiences (Power BI).
• Ability to present and explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and analyse credit performance, identifying trends across arrears, insolvencies, balances and other key portfolio outcomes.
• Interrogate large datasets to uncover patterns, emerging risks and opportunities, turning analysis into meaningful business insight.
• Develop and improve forecasting, MI and analytical processes, turning individual analysis into scalable and repeatable solutions.
• Visualise and communicate complex findings through dashboards and presentations that are easy to understand.
• Collaborate across teams, partnering with Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy, Customer Insights and Data teams to support informed decision-making and business change.
