Job summary

You will own the reporting stack and work with Python-based tools, collaborating with stakeholders across Collections, Ops, Technology and Finance to transform data into actionable strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of analytics experience, strong Python skills, and proficiency in BI tools to empower data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data analytics experience in a consumer-facing business.
• Strong Python data science stack experience (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficient with data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI).
• Familiar with DBT data transformation framework.
• A drive to solve problems using data.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of managing customers facing payment difficulties.
• Conduct deep dive data investigations to surface actionable insights.
• Develop reporting suites using the latest BI tools and tech.
• Build empathic approaches towards vulnerable customers.
• Create strategies to identify and prevent fraud (first/third party).
• Develop machine learning models and policies to drive decisions.
• Identify new areas of opportunity proactively.
• Challenge KPIs, objectives, and strategy.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly with stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with Collections, Ops, Tech, Finance, etc.

• Take ownership of our management of customers who are struggling with their payments
• Deep dive investigations into data in order to surface insight for decision making
• Develop our reporting suite through the latest BI tools & technology stack
• Develop our empathic approaches towards vulnerable customers
• Create strategies to identify and prevent first party and third party fraud
• Develop our machine learning models & policies that drive sophisticated decisions
• Proactively identify new areas of opportunity
• Challenge the status quo in terms of KPIs, objectives & strategy
• Communicate complex data concepts effectively and confidently
• Build great relationships with Collections, Ops, Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• A drive to solve problems using data
• 2-5 years experience in data analytics in a consumer-facing business
• Python data science stack (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib, etc.)
