Job summary

NewDay is seeking a Specialist, Credit Insights to turn complex data into clear insights that forecast arrears, insolvencies and balances, and identify risks across the credit portfolio. You’ll investigate numbers, spot the narrative behind trends, and shape decisions with stakeholders.

You’ll work with Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy and Customer Insights teams to translate analytics into actions, building scalable MI and dashboards for broad audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills to interrogate complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel experience for robust analysis and clear communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with curiosity.
• Experience creating data visualisations and MI, including Power BI.
• Ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and analyse credit performance, identifying trends across arrears, insolvencies, balances and other key portfolio outcomes.
• Interrogate large datasets to uncover patterns, emerging risks and opportunities, turning analysis into meaningful business insight.
• Develop and improve forecasting, MI and analytical processes, helping turn individual analysis into scalable and repeatable solutions.
• Visualise and communicate complex findings through compelling dashboards and presentations that make data easy to understand.
• Collaborate across teams, partnering with Credit Risk, Finance, Strategy, Customer Insights and Data teams to support informed decision-making and business change.
