Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Credit Hire Recoveries Handler to join a growing team in the North West. The role covers managing motor claim recoveries, negotiating settlements, and maintaining comprehensive records.

You will liaise with clients, insurers and solicitors, ensuring GDPR and Consumer Duty compliance while meeting performance targets. The position offers Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours weekly), a salary up to £30k DOE with a monthly bonus up to £300, and a range of benefits

Qualifications

• Experience handling credit hire claims from billed to settlement.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients, insurers and solicitors.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data protection requirements.
• Ability to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process credit hire claims from billed to settlement.
• Maintain updates with clients, insurers, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
• Record and maintain all documentation and correspondence related to claims.
• Investigate disputes and negotiate settlements to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Gather evidence including witness statements and photographs.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and Consumer Duty and company policies.
• Monitor team and individual performance against targets.
• Conduct liability assessment and quantum evaluation.
