Job summary

DAC Beachcroft in Glasgow is seeking a qualified solicitor to join the Vehicle Hire and Damage team within CSG - Casualty. You will handle a varied caseload across credit hire, motor disputes and related claims, liaising with clients and supporting litigation strategies in Scotland.

The role offers growth opportunities in a leading insurance defence practice. You will work on simple procedures to ordinary causes, with opportunities to attend hearings and develop advocacy.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience managing Scottish claims.
• Credit Hire/Motor Litigation background preferred.
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
• Excellent client handling and relationship management.
• Self-sufficient with a commercial approach and strong integrity.
• Aligned with the firm's cultural principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of Scottish credit hire and related litigation.
• Act as point of contact for Scottish claims and clients.
• Attend hearings and develop advocacy skills as required.
• Support marketing, training sessions and client clinics.
• Collaborate across teams on liability, indemnity and losses.
• Maintain high standards of data security and confidentiality.
• Contribute to achieving personal and team targets.
• Pursue business development and client relationship growth.
