Canford Law in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Litigation Executive / Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our growing Credit Hire team. You will manage a personal caseload from pre-litigation through the full litigation process, supporting and guiding clients to achieve successful outcomes through negotiation or trial.

You will work autonomously while benefiting from a collaborative, supportive team environment and our purpose-built case management system.

Competenze

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience handling Credit Hire, RTA and litigation matters.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and progress files to trial.
• Excellent client care skills with a professional, empathetic manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good administrative and organisational skills, including diary and deadline management.
• Confident user of case management systems and standard office software.
• Right to work in the UK.

Mansioni

• Manage a personal caseload of Credit Hire / RTA / litigation matters with autonomy.
• Conduct pre-litigation case prep, issue court proceedings, progress to trial when needed.
• Provide clear guidance and regular client updates throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
• Gather/review evidence, draft pleadings, manage disclosure and witness statements.
• Prepare trial bundles, brief Counsel, and negotiate settlements.
• Use the firm's case management system to record activity and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with practice rules and Firm procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to drive case outcomes and client care.
• Identify issues and propose cost-effective solutions for clients and the business.
